As parents of four children, we came to understand how important art can be in learning and nurturing their development.  James started drawing them pictures during our gospel learning, even asking them what he should draw that corresponded with the story we were sharing.  Their little minds lit up and got excited about what we were learning.

All children have a creative side to them.  When we tap into this ability, we encourage deeper thinking and nurture important truths into their hearts.

Our creativity and talents are blessings in our lives.  Through them we experience learning in a more meaningful way and these experiences become foundational in our beliefs, habits, and skills.  As our children grow older, they don’t need to grow out of this phase.  We can encourage them to continue to be creative making learning a lifelong habit.  The artwork we share is for children at any age, even teenagers and adults.  Enjoy!
